It's Oh So Quiet

In fact its a no-news-day today. 2 more nights in hospital and then home though so yippee. Of course now starting to fret over whether or not the NHS will be able to make all the necessary arrangements (transport, painkillers, district nurse visits etc). Painkillers being my number one priority of course... J x

'Lilac Wine' / 'Isle of Wight'.
Ha Ha! I love it.

My Mum is a good one for singing her 'own interpretation' of songs, but the real honours go to my Auntie Joan, whom I once overheard singing (to the tune of Bonnie Tylers 'It's a Heartache')...

'It's a hound dog, nothing but a hound dog'.

Mind you, as a child I though the words to the hymn Lord Of The Dance were ...

'Dance, Dance, wherever you may be. I am the Lord of the Dance, Settee. And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be, And I'll lead you all, in the dance Settee.'

I used to sing it when as I jumped up and down on the sofa incase God saw and told me off.

Such innocent times.

I borrowed this one but it still makes me laugh.... In Queens song - Bohemian Rhapsody the lyrics Beelzebun has a devil put aside for me was regularly mis sung as......"Beelzebubhas a devil for a sideboard...meeeeeee !!!" Fabulous......
