Weight Loss

So I've lost 2 pounds in 3 days. A good start but lets see if we can make 9 pounds by the time I leave? I am a little worried now about the calorific content of morphine. Some more research needed I think... J

ok bebs when do you want me?

Like the WOO reference but wasn't that because Dorothy had arrived in a beautiful place of wonder?

It was transformative, I think that was the point. She came back a little girl who had lost her innocence whereas I will return a middle-aged man who has lost his gall bladder... J x

Morphine? You lucky bugger. I often waste many happy hours imagining I was back on it. Honestly, that stuff is wonderful. Have you got a pump set up, or are you cruelly at the mercy of the nurses administering it? Seriously, though, in best Hughie Green voice, lose that weight and we're sending you loads of love. Kathryn xx PS how much does a gall bladder weigh?

Cruelly at mercy I'm afraid. Have to say I've been reasonably happy with standard of nursing so far (but then I had such low expectations to start with...). I'm on Oramorph whenever I request it (minimum 4 hour gap) but am only needing it every 7 - 8 hours or so. It hits the spot oh yes. Here's hoping they give me some to take home. No calories at all (unlike vodka). Shall attempt to discover the weight of a gall bladder or, even better, my own gall bladder - surely they weigh these things when they come out? And then there's the stones themselves... People! Do you realise what this means? I could be Size Zero
by the end of the week! J x
