I think I have now installed a visitor counter. So even though no-one appears to be leaving posts anymore (but I have heard from one person that there may be problems around this - let me know on jonathan95@mac.com if you're also having problems) I should still be able to see whether people are visiting me. Obviously of I'm getting half a visitor per week then I need to think about whether I should carry on with the thing... And, honestly, don't ever go and see Aspects of Love. That's all. J x

Your profile shows you hAVE HAD 518 visitors not bad considering shameful lack of graphics - we must talk about this. Not sure what the visitor counter is if its not that which is automatic.

Gosh, so it does. But the new counter shows 15 people today. And they're not all me just logging on to check the counter either. I suppose therefore that I'll have to carry on... J x

We love to log on and read your musings/rantings/jokes/theatre-book-film-restaurant-shopping reviews and generally to catch up with life in Jonathan-land. I thought you knew that without a visitor counter...
So Aspects of Love was pretty bad, huh? Never really fancied it but I wonder if it could be as horrendous as "Hot Flush", the musical about the menopause, to which I was dragged the other week??? It was so dire, it was sniggeringly laughable and of course, I did get to see Sam Kane's bare ass.
Who knew that Rula Lenska has
legs like an ostrich and a voice like a Polish miner with laryngitis? Who knew Marti Webb has a speaking voice like Barry Gibbs on speed? Who knew there were so many bad bad bad cliched jokes about sex?? Still perhaps it was better than Aspects of Love.

I think my counter is measuring the number of times that anybody clicks onto the site whereas the profile count (mentioned by Jane) appears to just count the number of individuals who visit the site (no matter how many times they do it). Its over 500 at the moment which is quite impressive. I'm fairly sure I don't know 500 people so presumably the site gets random visitors (anyone remember Lou from the US?).
Aged Ps are fine and currently in Gibraltar I believe on the homeward leg of their Mediterranean cruise. Haven't spoken to them in detail since they went because they couldn't get a signal whilst they were at sea. Have however received one or two texts (which they appear to have learned how to do) which suggest that things are OK. I'll let you know how they enjoyed the experience once they're home.
Not fully booked for pantos yet (anyone got any recommendations?) but I'm certainly leaning towards Aladdin at Birmingham which has the delicious John Barowman and the daleks! Be interesting to see how they fit into the story... That's all. J x
