The Upside
.... to an enforced confinement is that the BBC are re-running Cagney & Lacey in the afternoons..... Just saying. And the road sign "Entering Queens" still makes me smile. J x
Hi Jonathan, it's Jane, Sally's school friend...we shared a kiss once although you might want to forget that! We were talked into it in a classroom, mainly by Sally! Bumped into Mary in Tesco and she told me about your blog...it's brilliant - if that is the right reaction?! So sorry to hear about your mum, I didn't know or I would have come to her funeral. Your dad was with Mary but not sure he would remember me, last saw him at Sally's funeral. Not much I can say to you except how brilliantly you seem to be handling everything and what a crappy hand life has dealt your family. X
And please, can we not use these pages to diss superb programming such as the aforementioned Cagney & Lacey. The groundbreaking (at the time) feminist police drama.

Upside? Surely not.
