Visitors

So Fig has been up for Easter. Was great to see him and we had a fabulous time. We shopped, we dined (the Norther Quarter Restaurant with DD & B&M which was great once they'd sorted out our table but then we were the last to leave too), we drank ourselves into oblivion (most of the bars on and off Canal Street) and we played Playstation until our fingers bled (Skyrim for anyone interested). He's v excited at the moment as he's about to exchange on his new house and I'm very pleased for him as its been a bit of a journey to get this far (as it often is with houses even in these austerity times).

Elsewhere, Mum has had her second cycle of chemotherapy (yesterday). Bit too early to say whether this one will make her as ill as the last one but she's on different anti-sickness tablets this time so fingers crossed. It still won't be fun of course but hopefully she'll feel unwell without actually being sick. Which is about the best you can say for chemotherapy.

Off to Bents lunchtime today to meet Jim for a coffee and a browse of the spring plants (have an extra day off for Maundy Thursday - yes I know its Tuesday). Karen arrives soon to stay for two nights too as she has some work stuff to do up here so it'll be great to see her too. Its been far too long.

And that's all. J x

What a lovely time I had. Great to see everyone and spend some time in Manchester. Took me three days to properly shake off my first hangover for two months!
