...have just seen the doctor (Taz, one of the registrars) and he is using words like "fantastic", "looking really healthy", "mushy food" and "end of next week". He also asked how much support I had (which brought a tear to my eye) and I just had to say "loads" rather than mentioning each of you by name (otherwise he'd still be here!). Today is now officially a good day. J x

Mushy food?
No Bombay Potatoes then.

Mushy food? Mushy books next! It won't be too long before you are ready for Heathcotes and the book group again !
Glad you are doing so well...

Hi Jonathon,
Have just caught up with all your news from the weekend.
All sounding very encouraging.
My contribution to the mushy food suggestions? Cheesey mash with lots of butter! (A clue there to how I keep my figure!)
As a Dr Who fan I'd have to agree that this Saturday's was better than week one.
But I still hanker for Christopher Ecclestone and so I spent a great deal of Sunday afternoon / evening watching the first series on DVD. (Hmmm bit sad? Maybe....)
Anyway, I hope this coming week brings more good news for you and your stools and swallowing and mushy food and the holy grail of a decent cup of coffee.
Big love

Katrina B a genuine Doctor Who fan? And there was I thinking that all those fan-type references during the act (all those years ago) were just a clever-clever way of being even more arch. Who knew? That's the flipside of glib postmodern cabaret for you ... you never know when sincerity might strike.
NB. I wasn't that keen on the Werewolf one, I liked the Cat Nuns.
