.... which is a bit sad I'll admit. And there are cracks when you watch stuff critically. But this in no way takes away from the energy of tonight's programme. Indeed it may even enhance it. J x
Computer medical diagnosis by computer. What do we think?

'computer diagnosis'? ... Remember the IT cock up with the national fire centre? The super air traffic control centre? The vast sums wasted on internal civil service upgrades? The problems with 111 NHS helpline?
IT can do many wonderful things, but successive Governments have shown themselves to be inept in managing large IT projects. Factor that in amongst the bloated anture of the NHS, the arrogance of Ministers and the greed of IT suppliers... half the ill people in the UK would be dead in a month and the others would have miraculously found themselves referred to a G4S 'Health Farm' ...
