Mother Update IV

Egg sandwich stayed down which is a great result. As did the pasta in a tomato sauce and ice cream she had this evening. Mum was also sat up in a chair when we visited this afternoon but back in bed this evening. She seemed really bright this afternoon but clearly more tired later. Hopefully, in the absence of sickness, she will be able to get some sleep tonight. But her wound is starting to hurt. The pain from a cut muscle can be excruciating - I know - so I've told her to get some morphine when they do the drugs round tonight. Hopefully she will have listened to me.
